I love seeing the trend of couples who are foregoing traditional weddings for destination micro weddings or elopements. The mission: Go somewhere beautiful, take some friends, and do the damn thing. These laid-back affairs are some of our favorites to photograph.
Abby and Josh decided to have a small ceremony with 40 or so folks in Charleston, South Carolina. Everyone convened at the Battery in Charleston which, if you aren’t familiar with the area, is a stunning park right on the water. Abby and Josh had a friend marry them in the gazebo. The light was stunning, the weather was gorgeous, and the photos reflect the warm, easygoing nature of the day.
